Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
1-⅜cupall-purpose flour
½teaspoonbaking soda
¼teaspoonsalt
½cupbutter, room temperature
⅓cupgranulated sugar
⅓cupbrown sugar, packed
1teaspoonvanilla
1large egg, room temperature
½cupchocolate chipsor double up on chips & omit M&Ms
½cupM&Ms
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with silpat, parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Add egg & beat well.
Gradually add flour mixture in until combined. Stir in peanut butter chips & M&Ms. Set aside.
Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars and vanilla extract until creamy. Add egg & beat well.
Gradually add flour mixture in until combined. Stir in chocolate chips & M&Ms.
Wrap each dough separately and chill for about 3 hours.
To mix:
Take about 1 tablespoon of chocolate dough and roll in ball. It is easier to do a number of the chocolate dough balls together as you will need to wash your hands before doing the plain chocolate chip dough.
Take 1 Tablespoon of chocolate chip cookie dough and form into ball. Make a number of these before going on to next step.
Combine 2 halves together and roll into a ball. Place on cookie sheets about 2" apart. Clean hands as necessary in-between rolling balls.
Bake in oven 11-12 minutes. Remove and let cool on cookie sheets. Store in tightly covered tin for 1-2 weeks.
