Ingredients

Hurricane

  • 2 oz light rum
  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 4 oz orange juice
  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Frangelico or Amaretto
  • 1 oz grenadine syrup
  • Crushed ice

Directions

Hurricane

  1. Combine all ingredients except ice into shaker and give a good shake.

  2. Fill glasses with ice and pour in hurricane. Garnish with a slice of orange or pineapple.

Recipe Notes

This cocktail can be made with store bought grenadine or you can make your own. The homemade version is so much better than the bottled (read that as no high fructose corn syrup) and only takes about 25 minutes.
