These Air Fryer Turkey Burgers are an easy-to-make dinner that takes less than 5 minutes prep, a little chill time, and 10 minutes to cook. Top with crunchy coleslaw and you've got your new favorite burger!
¼cupyellow onion, choppedor 2 green onions, sliced thin
2clovesgarlic, minced
½teaspoonginger or ½" piece of ginger minced
1teaspoonsoy sauce
1Tablespoonhoisin sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
4hamburger buns
Crunchy Coleslaw (optional)
2 ½cups coleslaw mixture with carrots
¼small red onionthinly sliced then quartered
2green onionssliced
2Tablespoonsfresh cilantrochopped
2Tablespoonsrice wine vinegar
2Tablespoonssoy sauce
2Tablespoonsbrown sugar
1Tablespoonsesame oil, regular or toasted
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Crunchy Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine coleslaw mixture with red onion, green onion and cilantro.
In a small bowl, whisk together rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Drizzle coleslaw mixture with soy sauce mixture and toss to coat.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until burgers are made and finished air frying.
Turkey Burgers
Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
Form into 4 patties then place them in refrigereatorfor at least 30 minutes.
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
Place patties into basket of air fryer and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Place on toasted buns and serve with side of crunchy slaw or lettuce and tomato.
