Ingredients

large cucumber
sliced
2
large tomatoes
diced
½
medium red onion sliced

tablespoon
fresh basil
chopped

tablespoons
olive oil

tablespoon
red wine vinegar

teaspoon
salt

black pepper
Instructions
Combine cucumber, tomatoes, red onion and basil in a bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar and seasoning.
Add to cucumber-tomato mixture and toss well.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes for flavors to marry before serving.
Notes
TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST SALAD
If using cherry tomatoes, cut them in half so they can better absorb the flavors of the dressing.
Slice the vegetables into the same thickness.
