If you love the flavor of sweet berries, you'll love this mixed berry cobbler! The perfect summer dessert full of warm berries and topped with buttery biscuits!
6cupsmixed berriesfresh are best but frozen can also be used
¾cupgranulated sugar
1Tablespoonlemon juice
1Tablespooncornstarch
1can8-ct biscuit dough
1Tablespooncoarse sugaroptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, combine the berries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. If you are using frozen berries, do not thaw.
Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and arrange the biscuit dough in a single layer on top of the berries.
Sprinkle coarse sugar over the tops of the biscuits, if desired.
Return the fruit cobbler to the oven and bake for approximately 12-15 minutes more or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm. Top with ice cream or whipped cream or just eat it as is.

STORE/FREEZE/REHEATStore: Cover the cooled cobbler with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for up to 4 days.Freeze: Wrap the dish with a layer of plastic wrap and a layer of aluminum foil. Freeze it for up to 4 months. Thaw it in the fridge overnight.Reheat: Cook on high in the microwave for 30-second intervals until warmed through or bake in the oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
