Instant Pot Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin is an easy 30 minute dinner. It's a tender, sweet Asian flavored pork dish with incredible flavor. It cooks quickly in the instant pot and develops a sweet, gingery sauce that adds the most amazing flavor. It's quick enough for a weeknight and special enough for company.
1teaspoonground ginger or 1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 ½teaspoonminced garlic
1Tablespoonsesame oil
2teaspoonscornstarch
2Tablespoonscold water
Instructions
Turn Instant Pot to saute mode. Add olive oil.
Season pork loin with salt and pepper. Sear pork on all sides.
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce water, honey and spices and oil.
Turn Instant Pot off and pour sauce over pork loin.
Cover and seal. Turn pressure to high and cook 5 minutes.
Release pressure naturally for 10 minutes then vent remaining pressure.
Remove pork to a plate and cover to keep warm.
Turn Instant Pot back to saute mode and thicken sauce with a mixture of cornstarch and water.
Let simmer for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Drizzle over pork and serve remainder on side.
Notes
To grill pork tenderloin:Marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, water, ginger and garlic in same amounts as above, for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Remove and discard marinade.In s small saucepan, combine 3 tablespoons brown sugar with ¼ cup honey and 1 tablespoon sesame oil and cook until sugar is dissolved. This will be your basting marinade.Heat grill to medium and brush some basting marinade on the pork. Cook for 5 minutes then turn and brush more marinade on pork. Turn every 5 minutes until cooked to 145 degrees, about 15-20 minutes.
