Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8x8-inch square baking dish with a nonstick spray.
Brownies
In a large bowl, mix cake mix, oil, eggs and vanilla extract. Batter will be thick.
Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool in the pan.
Cream Cheese Frosting
While brownies are cooling, make the frosting.
Beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Continue mixing while adding vanilla extract.
Turn the mixer to low and gradually add the powdered sugar.
If the frosting seems too thick to spread, add a small amount of milk.
Spread the brownies with cream cheese frosting then cut into 12-16 squares.

HOW TO STOREThe brownies need to be refrigerated because they have cream cheese frosting.Place the frosted brownies in an airtight container with parchment or wax paper between the layers. Refrigerate them for up to 5 days.Freeze the brownies in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw them in the refrigerator overnight.
