Easy creamy herb ranch dressing is both fresh and rich. A quick recipe with mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, and fresh herbs. Perfect for salads or dipping.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream.
Add finely chopped green onion, dill, and cilantro to the buttermilk mixture.
Season the mixture with ground pepper. Toss the salad together until well combined. Taste the ranch dressing and adjust the seasoning if desired.
Transfer the dressing to a jar or airtight container and chill at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to marry.
Serve the homemade ranch dressing, garnished with fresh dill, as a dip for vegetables, a dressing for salads, or as a flavorful sauce for sandwiches and wraps.
Notes
Store the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Freezing is not recommended.
