This Gnocchi Gratin with Ham recipe is comfort food at its best. Cheesy gnocchi combines with ham and peas to make an easy 30 minute dinner in one dish.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray an 11x7 baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cook gnocchi as directed on package. Drain and place in a large bowl.
Add ham to gnocchi and stir.
While gnocchi is cooking, melt butter In a medium sauce pan over medium-high. Whisking continuously, stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the mixture turns a golden brown.
Add in half and half while continuing to whisk and bring to a boil. Mixture should be smooth.
Remove pan from heat and stir in Gruyère and ¼ cup grated Parmesan. Stir until all cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour sauce over gnocchi and ham.
Add peas.
Pour into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle with a mixture of remaining Parmesan cheese and panko crumbs.
Bake for 20 minutes.

Storing/ReheatingStore leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.Reheat leftovers in the microwave for single servings or the entire casserole in the oven at 350°F until heated through. To keep the panko topping crispy, cover the dish with foil until the last 5 minutes of reheating.
