Salty, tart, crisp & delicious, these margaritas on the rocks will have you thinking Margaritaville. Perfect served over crushed ice or frozen for a hot summer day.
¼cuptequila,Jose Cuervo & Silver Patron are definitely gluten-free - just look for 100% agave under ingredients
¼cuplime juice
¼cuporange juice
¼cupTriple Sec or Cointreau
1teaspoonagave syrup or simple syrup(more or less depending on sweetness desired)
crushed ice
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a shaker with crushed ice.
Prepare glasses by first filling with crushed ice to chill glass. Dump out the ice and rub the edge with slice of lime then dip into coarse salt.
Fill glasses with margarita and enjoy.
To make frozen margarita, add ingredients to blender then add ice cubes one at a time until desired consistency. Prepare glass as suggested above and pour in frozen concoction.

BY THE PITCHER
Multiply the recipe by half the amount of drinks you need since the recipe makes 2 drinks (for example, for 8 margaritas, you'll multiply by 4, so use 1 cup tequila, 1 cup lime juice, etc.).
Mix everything in a large pitcher and chill it in the fridge until serving time.
