This viral Dumpling Bake with Chicken combines potstickers, rotisserie chicken, veggies, and a savory ginger-soy sauce for a quick & easy family dinner.
20frozen potstickers (chicken or vegetable)(Note: Keep frozen until ready to top chicken mixture.)
Garnish: sliced green onions, drizzle of chili crisp
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F while making chicken filling.
In a large 12-inch iron skillet, melt butter over medium-high. Add chopped carrots and celery, stirring frequently, for 6-8 minutes.
Continue stirring and add green onions, garlic, and ginger and cook about 2 minutes.
Add flour, stirring constantly, until mixture is well coated, about 1 minute.
Slowly add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently for 3 minutes or until thickened. The gravy should coat the back of a spoon.
Stir in chicken, soy sauce, and black pepper and remove skillet from heat.
Place FROZEN potstickers on top of chicken mixture, working around the edge of the pan, then fill in the middle. Cover skillet tightly with aluminum foil.
Place in oven and bake 20 minutes or until the potstickers are soft and cooked through.
Garnish with sliced green onions and drizzle with chili crisp, as little or as much as you like. I like to serve extra chili crisp on the side.
