Tuna Pasta Salad
This Tuna Pasta Salad is a classic summer pasta salad. It takes just 30 minutes to throw together and is deliciously cool, creamy and delicious.

Ingredients

ounces
pasta
rotini or shells
14
ounces
tuna fish
(2 7-oz or 3 5-oz cans)

teaspoons
lemon juice
½
cup
celery
chopped (about 2 ribs)
½
cup
onion
chopped
½
cup
red bell pepper
chopped (orange can also be used)
¼
cup
dill pickles
diced
1
cup
mayonnaise
use more or less to suit your taste

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in bowl. Chill in refrigerator.
In a large bowl, add tuna and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Add chopped celery, onion, bell pepper, and dill pickles and mix well.
Stir in mayonnaise then season with salt & pepper.
Once noodles are cooked and chilled, add to the tuna salad mixture. Toss well.
Serve cold.
Notes
RECIPE TIPS
Tuna - Drain well and fluff with a fork.
Pasta - Cook until al dente, drain and rinse. Let cool.
Vegetables - when adding fresh vegetables that are soft, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, add just prior to serving.
