3-4poundwhole chicken, frozen(make sure the size will fit in your air fryer without touching the top element of air fryer)
2Tablespoonsolive oil
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonrosemary
1teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoonthyme
1 /2teaspoonssalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoonlemon zest

Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 350°F for 4 minutes.
In a small bowl combine all seasonings.
Rub olive oil over the entire frozen chicken.
Sprinkle the seasonings on the chicken and rub them in.
Spray the basket of the air fryer with oil and place chicken, breast side down, in the basket.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Open the air fryer, and if the chicken has giblets in the cavity, remove them. It is best to purchase an organic chicken that does not contain the giblets.
Turn the chicken over and cook, breast side up, for another 30-45 minutes. Check the temperature with a digital thermometer every 5 minutes after the 30-minute mark until it reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast.
If you want a nicely browned, crisp skin, spray the top of the chicken with an oil spray in the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.Freeze: Place the chicken in a freezer-safe container or freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.Reheat: In an air fryer, preheated to 350°F, air fry for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is heated through.
