Ingredients
1
lb.
green beans
washed, ends snapped off and blotted dry
1 ½
Tablespoons
olive oil
¾-1
teaspoon
minced garlic
½
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
black pepper

lemon juice

Tablespoons
Parmesan cheese
grated

Tablespoons
sliced almonds
optional
Instructions
Place green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
Spray the basket of an air fryer with cooking oil.
Place beans in the basket and cook at 380 degrees for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
When done, return the cooked beans to a large bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice and Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
Place in serving bowl and sprinkle almonds on top.
Notes
STORE/REHEAT
Cool the green beans to room temperature and put them in an airtight container or plastic ziptop bag.
Refrigerate for up to 4 days.
Freeze for up to 3 months. Note they will turn a little mushy after thawing. Thaw them in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
Reheat air fryer green beans in the air fryer or microwave:
Air fryer:
Place the beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket and reheat at 350°F for about 4 minutes.
Microwave:
Place the beans on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on high in 30-second increments until heated.
