You'll never get enough of this tasty air fryer pork shoulder. It's deliciously moist and tender with the perfect crispy crackling on top. A family favorite weeknight dinner.
Score fat in a criss-cross pattern on top of the roast.
Rub salt into fat and let rest for 10 minutes then pat dry.
Rub oil over the entire roast.
Mix seasoning rub ingredients and rub into the roast covering all sides.
Preheat air fryer to 360°F for 4 minutes.
Spray the air fryer basket and place the seasoned pork shoulder into the bottom.
Cook for 25-30 minutes per pound or about 50-60 minutes for a 2-pound roast. A digital thermometer should read 145°F when done.
Let rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
FOR CRISPIER CRACKLING:Carefully remove the crackling once the pork is done cooking. Place the crackling back in the air fryer, set the air fryer to 360°F, and let it crisp up for an additional 5 to 10.
