Cool off this summer with this sweet and tangy Mango Lemonade. Frozen mango, fresh lemons, and a little sugar create a refreshing drink to beat the heat.
¾cupsugar(add more or less for your desired amount of sweetness)
3cupsfrozen chopped mango
Instructions
Place lemon juice, 1 cup water, and sugar in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. It will just be lukewarm and will not come to a boil.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add the remaining 5 cups of water.
Place ¼ to ½ of the lemonade into a blender, depending on its size. Add ¼ to ½ of the frozen mango. Blend until smooth. Pour into a large pitcher and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
Taste for sweetness. Add more sugar if desired. Start with a little as you can always add more but you can't take any out.
Serve immediately over ice with a slice of lemon and a colorful straw or cover and store in the refrigerator.
