Easy Turkey Pot Pie

Easy turkey pot pie with crescent rolls is the perfect way to use up Thanksgiving leftovers. Turkey and frozen vegetables nestled in a creamy white sauce is a comfort food dinner that just melts in your mouth.


Step 1 Saute onions, celery,bell pepper and garlic in oil or bacon fat.

Step 2 Stir flour into skillet.

Step 3 Whisk in cream.

Step 4 Whisk constantly until roux has thickened.

Step 5 Add frozen vegetables to cream sauce.

Step 6 Add leftover turkey.

Step 7 Sprinkle in cheese.

Step 8 Fill casserole with pot pie mixture. Roll crescent roll dough out.

Step 9 Place crescent roll dough on top of filling. Crimp edge and cut slits for steam.

Step 10 Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Rest 10 minutes then serve.
