Creamy Raspberry Lemonade Popsicles are an easy to make summer treat. Just 3 ingredients, yogurt, lemonade and raspberries, is all it takes for a refreshing healthy snack on a hot day. Loved by kids and adults alike they make a great addition to summer picnics and 4th of July barbecues.

It's been so nice here but today I can feel the hot summer heat starting to show itself. When those hot days hit, I love to have some cool treats on hand.

Since I live by the grandkids now, I've been making more popsicles for their snacks. My favorites (and theirs) are my Cake Batter Pops and Fresh Fruit Pops.

These lemonade yogurt popsicles are more popular with the adults but, if I leave out the raspberries, the grandkids gobble them up. They are one of the healthier treats that come with a big high 5 mom approval rating.

And if you enjoy raspberry lemonade, try my pink lemonade cocktail with raspberry liqueur.

These creamy raspberry lemonade popsicles are easy to make too and use just 3 simple ingredients that you can whip up in just 5 minutes. You can easily make them in the morning and they'll be ready to eat in the afternoon.

I've tried them with strawberries and blueberries and they are just as good. Plus, if you can't find the fresh fruit, frozen will also work. Just stir the frozen ones into the yogurt and lemonade and freeze as directed.

Want to know what else you can do to jazz these up? You can add just a tablespoon of vodka for a cool adult treat or use them as a stirrer in your glass of wine.

Yep, these are just in time for the holiday picnic. Make one batch for the kids and one for the adults and everyone's happy. Enjoy!

    Variations

    • Don't like raspberries, substitute your favorite berry or fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches, or cherries.
    • Want a smaller version for the little ones? Just make in small dixie cups. You will get more popsicles than when using the larger molds.
    • Don't worry if you don't have lemonade. You can always substitute lemon juice sweetened with either honey, agave, or even stevia if you are watching your sugar content.
    • Want a little less lemon flavor? Substitute vanilla yogurt for the lemon yogurt or go all out for the fruit flavor and match your yogurt flavor to the fruit you are using.

    Ingredients

Yes, these are a pretty healthy option for a sweet summer treat.

Greek Yogurt - I like to use the Chobani lemon but any good Greek yogurt will do. Yogurt is an excellent source of calcium as well as important probiotics. These can improve gut health and may aid in lowering blood pressure and the chance of developing type 2 diabetes.

Lemonade - yes, you can use a lemonade with a sugar substitute or, since little is used, go ahead and opt for bottled lemonade. It lends flavor and sweetness to popsicles.

Raspberries - not only taste delicious but are a great source of antioxidants that help fight inflammation. They also provide fiber which can help with digestion.

    How to make

How to make lemon popsicles with raspberries.

    1. Gather ingredients - yogurt, raspberries, and lemonade.
    2. Whisk yogurt and lemonade together.
    3. Stir in raspberries.
    4. Pour into molds.
    5. Freeze for about 30 minutes then insert popsicle sticks.
    6. Freeze for at least 4 hours but overnight is the best then run under warm water to easily release from the mold.

Coffee Ice Cream Pie - is a cool, creamy, and rich dessert that just screams summer! It starts with a chocolate cookie crust that's topped with loads of coffee ice cream, a rich layer of dark chocolate, and a finishing touch of coffee whipped cream.

Healthy Peach Ice Cream - is an easy-to-make summer dessert that delivers ice cream flavor without the guilt.

Cherry Chocolate Smoothie Popsicles - are a creamy and healthy frozen treat made with Greek yogurt and protein powder.

Grasshopper Pie -  is a yummy frozen treat that has a cool minty flavor to help beat the heat.
