These cookies are half chocolate chip cookies filled with peanut butter chips & M&Ms combined with chocolate peanut butter cookies that are packed with chocolate chips and M&Ms to give you the best of both cookie favorites - Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies! It's sure to satisfy any & all the sweet tooths in the crowd.
Have you ever had one of those days when you couldn't decide what to bake? Well, I had one of those days! I couldn't decide between a chocolate chip cookie or a peanut butter cookie, plus I had a chocolate craving that just wouldn't quit. So it seemed like a no-brainer to just combine the two cookies and get the best of both worlds.
But I didn't stop there. No siree! I decided to put peanut better chips & M&Ms in the chocolate chip dough side and chocolate chips & M&Ms in the peanut butter side. Boy, did that ever make a difference! These are rich, decadent cookies that will please the chocolate chip cookie lovers and the peanut butter cookie lovers with no problem.
The only hard part is waiting for the dough to chill for about 3 hours before being able to bake and eat them. But believe me, they are well worth the wait! I couldn't wait to take a bite, as you can see, while they were still warm, and then I had to pack them up and send them into work with the hubs just to keep me from eating the entire 3 dozen! (where they got a hands down delicious seal of approval)
These cookies would be great for holiday parties, cookie exchanges and, of course, just that sweet afternoon treat. Hope you enjoy!
