Why This Cold Brew Float Recipe is the Best

Simple ingredients - just 3 off-the-shelf ingredients to make this coffee lover's treat.

Easy to Make - Just combine all the ingredients in a tall glass and enjoy!

Cool and refreshing - Ice coffee, cool ice cream - perfect for a hot day!

Flavor Combo - there is nothing like the combination of coffee and orange. The sweetness of orange pairs perfectly with the bitter flavor of coffee and offers a more complex taste to cold brew coffee floats.

Adult Milkshake - any coffee lover will love the rich creamy taste of vanilla ice cream combined with coffee and the little extra pop of effervescent from seltzer water. It's an adult version of the classic ice cream float.

    Recipe Variations

Adult version - add 1 ounce Kahlua

Ice Cream - Give it a deeper and richer coffee flavor by substituting vanilla ice cream with Coffee Ice Cream. You can also opt for more of a mocha accent by using Chocolate Ice Cream. Or turn it into a real gourmet treat with White Chocolate Ice Cream.

Seltzer Water - Not a fan of orange? Use plain seltzer water or another flavor that pairs well with coffee such as cherry or coconut.

Toppings - Drizzle butterscotch or caramel sauce on top instead of chocolate syrup. Or top it with a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle chocolate shavings, chocolate-covered coffee beans, or cacao nibs on top. Some orange zest would be great too.

    Ingredients

    • 5-6 ounces cold brew coffee
    • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
    • 2-3 ounces orange seltzer water

    • Top off with orange seltzer water.
