Bring your lemonade up a notch by adding peach syrup & ripe peaches to the mix. Nothing is better to quench your thirst on hot summer days than a refreshingly sweet peach lemonade.
Wow! That week of vacation went by so fast! I wish I was still there enjoying the powder white sand and warm gulf waters but I guess I have to return to reality sometime. 🙁 I think the boatloads of laundry will certainly help me do that!
It's still hot here at home (who would have thought South Florida would be hot in July - jk) so cold drinks need to be on tap all the time. I usually have flavored waters on hand such as Strawberry Mint Water or Cucumber Water. For dinner, there is always Raspberry Mint Tea.
During my trip, I picked up a new refreshing drink to chill with, Peach Lemonade.
This drink has a lemonade base, with about half as much sugar as the normal lemonade but, with the addition of tasty ripe peaches, the sweetness level is right on point. I can't think of anything better to drink mid-summer than a flavored lemonade, can you?
And this Peach Lemonade looks so pretty you will definitely want to serve it at your next get-together.
Make it a little ahead of time so the flavors can mingle then add the fruit right before serving. I like to garnish mine with plenty of peach and lemon slices and a touch of mint. Keep cool and enjoy!
