  • Sunday means brunches and plenty of mimosas or Bloody Marys. Boy, that sounds good right now! And, to me, Bloody Marys are the perfect brunch cocktail. ⠀ ⠀ So what did I do? I made my Bloody Mary into its own brunch feast! I used tequila in place of the vodka (technically its’ called a Bloody Maria) and put it over the top by garnishing it with my totally addictive Bourbon Candied Bacon, olives, celery, pickles, lemon slices, roasted red peppers and cherry tomatoes.⠀ ⠀ I’ll tell you, the garnishes took this cocktail to the next level! Of course, the showstopper was the bourbon candied bacon!   • It’s National Chocolate Cupcake Day! And I’m in the middle of #Choctoberfest, a week long extravaganza of chocolate recipes (and a #GIVEAWAY), so I couldn’t think of anything I would rather make than these decadently delicious Molten Chocolate Cupcakes.   • I love football & tailgating & it always brings out the best appetizers. A little spicy, a lot tomato-y & with plenty of cheesy goodness that will satisfy any appetite. ⠀ ⠀ Italian Taquitos⠀ Ingredients:⠀ 8 medium tortillas⠀ 1 jar Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce⠀ 1 lb. Italian sausage, cooked & crumbled⠀ 16-oz shredded mozzarella cheese⠀ 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese⠀ Olive oil⠀ Directions:⠀ Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.⠀ Spread each tortilla with Rao’s marinara sauce, top with sausage, sprinkle with mozzarella. Roll up burrito fashion, roll in olive oil & shredded Parmesan. Place seam side down on baking sheet.⠀ Bake 17-20 minutes.   • You know that old phrase “I love it when a plan comes together”? That’s exactly how my sister and I felt when I visited her last month. We had way too much pork loin roast left over after a big family dinner got postponed. And there’s no better pumpkin pie to make than my mom’s super creamy, rich with pumpkin flavor and spice pie.⠀ ⠀ It’s super simple to make with canned pumpkin puree, a can of evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and spices. Just mix together in a bowl, pour into a prepared crust, homemade or store bought, and bake. That’s it!   • I love football and tailgating with friends and one of the best things about it, besides the game of course, are the eats. I put out extra Colman’s Mustard for a secondary dip and, let me tell you, everyone raved about them.
