Ingredients
- 8 ounces vodka or 1 cup of caramel vodka
- 2 Tablespoons caramel syrup (one used for flavoring coffee) (eliminate if using caramel vodka)
- 3 apples chopped
- ¼ cup caramel dessert topping plus more for garnish
- 6 cups apple cider
- 1 bottle white wine such as pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc (750ml)
- Garnish: cinnamon sugar for rim of glasses, caramel dessert topping, cinnamon stick
Instructions
- Mix vodka with caramel syrup used for flavoring coffee and shake well. Set aside.
- Core apples and chop or slice them.
- Place apples in the bottom of a large pitcher and pour caramel dessert topping over them.
- Pour in caramel vodka, apple cider and white white. Stir.
- Place pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours.
- To serve, rub the rim of the glasses with a little sangria then dip into a plate of cinnamon sugar (½ cup sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons cinnamon).
- Drizzle the inside of the glasses with caramel dessert topping then fill with sangria and a few of the apple pieces.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
