Ingredients
Just three simple ingredients and water are all you'll need! Find the exact measurement in the printable recipe card below!

- Fresh Strawberries - the sweetness of the strawberries and their gorgeous pink hue just screams summer.
- Granulated Sugar - is not just for sweetness but helps lower the freezing point, so your sorbet is scoopable instead of a strawberry ice block.
- Lemon Juice - Adds a zing that balances the sweetness and wakes up all the flavors.
- Water - blends it all together for a smooth mixture.
- Salt - Just a pinch, but it's crucial. Salt enhances the fruit flavors and brings the whole sorbet to life.
- Mint Leaves - A pretty garnish that makes your sorbet look as refreshing as it tastes.
How to Make Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet
Are you ready to turn those ingredients into frosty perfection? Here's a step-by-step guide to make the perfect treat!

- Place strawberries, lemon juice, water, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until it forms a smooth strawberry puree.
- Pour mixture into a loaf pan and freeze for 3 hours.

- You can serve this easy summer treat any time after it is frozen. However, to make a smoother sorbet, remove it from the loaf pan after the initial 3 hours, place the sorbet in the blender, and blend until smooth. Return it to the loaf pan and freeze for another hour. Enjoy!
Recipe Variations
Mix, match, and make this sorbet your own with these interesting variations!
- Citrus Switch-Up - Swap out lemon juice for lime or orange juice for a different tangy twist. Each one brings its own bright and zesty flavor to the party!
- Fruity Options - Try pineapple for tropical vibes, mango for a sweet, lush taste, peach for a soft, summery feel, or watermelon for the ultimate refresher.
- Berry Bonanza - Berries make everything better! Try blueberries for a deep, rich flavor, blackberries for tart complexity, or raspberries for their sweet, fragrant notes.
- Liqueurs - For an adult version, add a tablespoon of your favorite liqueur. Limoncello adds a lemony layer, Cointreau or Grand Marnier will give a delightful orange accent, and Framboise is perfect for a raspberry infusion.
How long will homemade sorbet last in the freezer?
Ensure your sorbet stays its frosty best with these tips.
- To prevent freezer burn and keep your sorbet fresh, store it in an airtight container. You can use any freezer-safe container with a tight-fitting lid.
- Before sealing the container, lay a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the sorbet. This helps prevent ice crystals from forming and keeps the texture smooth.
Homemade sorbet typically keeps well in the freezer for up to one month. After that, it might start to lose its flavor and texture.
