The perfect drink for summer, our Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail is full of fresh strawberries, tangy lemonade, and a touch of strawberry vodka. Ahhh!
Just got back from a fantastic vacation in the Florida panhandle and so enjoyed the beautiful white sand beaches and the warm waters of the gulf. (Take a look at the view from our balcony! Nice, right?)
Of course, being a family that loves to eat, we also enjoyed visiting all the great seafood restaurants and trying new dishes. And the family was really good about letting me take pictures of all their plates before they dug in - ah the life of a food blogger.
Besides all the food (of which there was plenty - diet here I come), one of the things I loved trying was all the different specialty cocktails that they offered. I figured if it was one of their specialties it had to be good.
And I found just the cocktail, a kicked-up Strawberry Lemonade, that will make you think of summer, beaches, and sunshine.
This drink was so refreshing after a day at the beach and the fresh strawberries seemed to bring the sunshine right into the bar. It was the perfect cocktail for the heat of summer so I definitely knew I had to try making it myself at home.
And I'm glad to say that after a little experimenting it came out super delicious! It's sweet from the strawberries and the little tang from the lemons makes it so refreshing. Served nice and cold, it sure helps beat the summer heat. It's an easy drink to serve individually or by the pitcherful for parties too.

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE COCKTAIL
- 2 parts strawberry vodka
- 4 parts lemonade
- Slightly crushed strawberries
- Garnish: lemon slices, strawberries, mint leaves
- In a cocktail glass filled with ice, combine strawberry vodka and lemonade with a couple tablespoons of crushed strawberries. Garnish with a lemon slice, strawberry and a mint leaf. Enjoy!
