What to serve with pumpkin spice scones
Pumpkin scones are delicious on their own, but pairing them with the right drink can elevate your snack time to a whole new level. Whether you're enjoying these scones for breakfast, an afternoon treat, or dessert, the perfect beverage can make all the difference. Classic choices like coffee or tea are always a hit, but if youโre feeling a bit more indulgent, flavored pumpkin spice lattes are the way to go.
For something different than the usual Pumpkin Spice Latte try more unique options like a Caramel Crรจme Brรปlรฉe Latte, Gingerbread Latte, or Pistachio Latte. These drinks complement the warm spices and sweetness of the scones perfectly.
How to store scones with glaze
If your scones are glazed, you can store them at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Itโs best to layer parchment paper between the scones if youโre stacking them.
For longer storage, these scones freeze beautifullyโeven with the glaze! Place the scones on a baking sheet and freeze them until theyโre solid, then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. When youโre ready to enjoy them again, just let them thaw at room temperature. Frozen scones will last up to 3 months.
