You know those days when it’s so hot that nothing but a cool, refreshing glass of lemonade will do? Me too! But now I’ve got something a whole lot better – a Frosted Lemonade Cooler!

Since this week is #CookoutWeek where 50 of my blogger friends are sharing recipes that would be perfect for the 4th of July and where there’s a giveaway (enter below) that’s simply awesome with a prize pack of over $750, I thought something to quench your thirst along with your sweet tooth would be perfect.

Frosted Lemonade Cooler with vodka

This recipe is an indulgent adult cocktail or a treat for the kids (minus the vodka of course). All you need are 3 ingredients, your favorite lemonade, a pint of vanilla ice cream, some vodka and a blender. Blend it all together, pour it into tall glasses and enjoy this creamy, smooth, a little bit tart, totally refreshing cocktail.

Frosted Lemonade Cooler served

I like to enjoy my Frosted Lemonade Cooler on my back porch with a bunch of friends. When I do have a crowd over, I make this drink by the pitcherful and let everyone help themselves. It goes great with some Mexican Chicken Burgers, London Broil or some Korean BBQ Kabobs. Of course, it goes pretty good with my Grilled Sour Cream Pound Cake that I shared yesterday too.

The ice cream makes this so creamy and awesome! I enjoy a cold cocktail at the end of a summer day, but when I want something alcohol-free and dessert-like, this is so perfect!

It will definitely cool you down whether with or without alcohol. If you’re like me, I’m into anything with ice cream come summer.

Oooohhhh , I have a feeling these would be very dangerous. It is one of those cocktails that you don’t realize is potent until you stand up LOL.

It’s perfect any time but when the temps reach into the 90’s it’s just pure heaven in a glass!
