Ingredients and Their Part in the Cocktail
This cocktail uses fresh ingredients that work beautifully together for a balanced drink. Here's what you'll need:

- Mango juice - Adds tropical sweetness and vibrant flavor.
- Lime juice - Brings brightness and a bit of tartness to balance the mango.
- Tequila - Gives this mango mint mojito its bold personality.
- Mint leaves - Provide that signature mojito freshness.
- Simple syrup - Sweetens the drink and helps mellow the lime.
- Sparkling water - Adds bubbly lift and makes it light and refreshing.
- Ice - Keeps everything chilled and crisp.
- Mango or lime slices - Perfect for garnish and extra visual appeal.
Best Tequila for Mojitos
For the best flavor, choose a 100% agave tequila. A quality Blanco keeps the drink crisp and clean, while a reposado adds a slightly deeper, more complex note.
Pricewise, Espolon Blanco is a great budget-friendly choice. Milagro Reposado works well in the midrange. For a higher-end option, Patron Silver or Don Julio Blanco are both excellent.
How to Make a Mango Mojito
This Mexican mojito comes together quickly with just a few easy steps. Here's what to do:

- In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint with lime juice and simple syrup.
- Add ice to shaker and pour in mango juice and tequila. Shake well.
- Fill two glasses with ice and divide mango mojito mixture between them. You can strain the mixture or add the mint leaves for a more colorful cocktail.
- Top with sparkling water. I like to use lime flavor but mango or plain sparkling water works as well.

Garnish these refreshing tropical cocktails with a slice of mango and some mint or a lime wheel. Add a straw and sip away. Cheers!
Recipe Variations to Make It Your Own
This cocktail is easy to customize depending on your mood and preferences.
Alcohol - Substitute rum or vodka instead of tequila.
Jalapeno (spicy) - Muddle 2 to 3 fresh jalapeno slices with the mint leaves for heat.
Pineapple - Replace half of the mango juice with pineapple juice for extra tropical flavor.
Strawberry - Muddle 3 to 4 large strawberries with the mint leaves for a fruity twist.
Sparkling - Use club soda or sparkling wine instead of sparkling water.
Virgin - Leave out the alcohol and add a little extra mango juice or sparkling water.
Pitcher for Parties
This cocktail is easy to scale up for gatherings and parties.
To make a pitcher, double or triple the amount for each ingredient. Combine mango juice, lime juice, tequila, simple syrup, and muddled mint in a large pitcher. Stir well instead of shaking. Do not add the sparkling water yet. Chill the mixture until ready to serve.
When serving, pour over ice and top each glass with sparkling water. Set out bowls of ice, sparkling water, lime slices, mango slices, and fresh mint so guests can customize their drinks.
